As the year wrapped up, theme park enthusiasts in Australia continued to engage with their favorite apps, showing varying trends in downloads and active users. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at how these apps fared in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks experienced a fluctuating download pattern, starting at approximately 9.8K in the last week of September and dipping to around 5.4K by the end of October. However, the app regained momentum, closing the quarter with over 10K downloads. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 31K to 28K in October, but numbers rebounded, reaching over 32K by the year's end.

The Tokyo Disney Resort App saw a decrease in downloads from roughly 6.5K to 4.5K in October but experienced a surge in December, finishing with over 8.6K. Revenue dipped mid-quarter but ended with a modest increase to $235. Active users started at 14K, dropping slightly before climbing back up to over 18K in the final week of December.

Despite having no reported revenue, Universal Studios Japan maintained a steady presence. Downloads began at about 4.5K and saw a consistent increase, with the app achieving over 5K downloads during the festive week. Weekly active users mirrored this positive trend, starting from 8.1K and growing to nearly 8.8K by December 25th.

My Disney Experience had a varied quarter in terms of revenue, peaking at $1.4K in mid-October and then settling at $626 towards the end. Downloads remained low, starting at 513 and peaking at 819, while active users showed a gradual increase from 1.5K to just over 1.9K.

Lastly, Universal Orlando Resort also reported no revenue. Downloads for this app were the lowest among the group, starting at 326 and ending the quarter with 508. Active users followed a similar trend, with numbers marginally increasing from 597 to 724.
